The Golden Chariot Booking Procedure

  • Share your preferred travel date, cabin category, and number of passengers.
  • Passenger details required: Full Name, Nationality, Date of Birth, and Passport Number.
  • Booking confirmation is processed upon receipt of a minimum 30% advance payment of the ticket value.
  • Remaining balance must be paid at least 70 days prior to departure.
  • Reservations made within 70 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking.
  • Payments can be made via bank wire transfer or online credit card authorization.
  • Passport copies and a completed reservation form are mandatory for issuing travel documents.
  • Hotel bookings in New Delhi and Mumbai along with customized pre/post-tour packages can also be arranged.
  • Guests are advised to purchase travel insurance from their home country before departure.

The Golden Chariot Cancellation Policy

  • Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) authorizes bookings through approved agents, whose liability remains limited to booking services only.
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and acknowledged officially.
  • 25% cancellation fee applies for cancellations made more than 70 days before departure.
  • 50% cancellation fee applies for cancellations between 70 and 50 days before departure.
  • 100% cancellation fee applies for cancellations made within 49 days of departure.
  • Passenger name changes and journey date modifications are subject to IRCTC rules.
  • International refunds are processed according to Reserve Bank of India regulations.
  • A bank processing fee of USD 100 may be deducted for overseas refund transactions.
  • The train operator reserves the right to cancel departures due to low occupancy, with refunds limited to the amount received and no further liability.
